About iTour

A travel agency that takes care of both "how do we get there" and "is this trip worth it."

Where it all began

It started on a tour bus in Penghu

iTour's founder, "Lolo," was a local tour guide in Penghu 20 years ago. The more tours he led, the more he loved it, especially the time on the bus.

"Taiwan is small, the sights are much alike, and guests could visit them on their own. Where you can really make a difference is on the bus." So he got into the habit of connecting with guests during the ride: telling stories and guiding in a funny way. After a forty-minute ride, people would get off still following him, wanting to hear more. That sense of achievement is what kept him going.

He started with tours; as more and more events came along, he wanted them to look better, so he began running themed parties. Later he noticed that many people have families, assets or companies in Vietnam, yet Vietnam visas were hard to get. iTour already had resources and connections in Vietnam from years of leading tours there, so we turned "getting our customers' visas sorted" into a formal service: it solved a real pain point for customers and opened a new path for iTour.

Over the years iTour has also supported causes we believe in: director Chi Po-lin attended iTour's opening, and we have long supported his film Beyond Beauty: Taiwan from Above (看見台灣). We have also assisted the production crew of the TV drama 《那片星空那片海》 and sponsored the 台灣原聲童聲合唱團 children's choir (2023 world choir gold medal). Lolo himself has long been active in the industry and the community: Vice Chair of the Technology Development Committee of the Travel Quality Assurance Association, BNI chapter president, Lions Clubs International and local organizations.

Lolo now also runs a travel video channel that explains clearly "what iTour does." See his channel →

What we believe

"The best part of any trip is the happy memories." So we don't just sell itineraries: when needed, we turn a dinner into a themed party and an employee trip into something everyone is still talking about when they get back.

And we know our responsibilities

Professionalism shows on the day something goes wrong. A licensed agency, NT$2.5 million travel liability insurance + NT$200,000 accident medical insurance as standard on every trip, and a tour leader on important groups: these are the basics, not extras.

How our team is organized

Under general manager Lolo, Vice President of Administration Ashley C. and Vice President of Products Kevin Lee lead four departments: finance, marketing, incentive travel and visas.

Visa team

An officially authorized designated Vietnam visa office and an officially authorized Thai e-visa agent. We handle Vietnam e-Visas, urgent e-Visas and visa expediting, airport fast track, Taiwan Compatriot Permits, passports, Thai visas, Philippine visas and more, serving more than 30,000 people a year (close to 9,000 in a single peak month). With dedicated LINE service and proactive reminders, "will I make it in time?" becomes something you don't have to worry about.

Incentive travel team

Corporate employee trips, incentive trips, family days, year-end parties and themed event design. 20 years, 1,000+ groups, 50,000+ travelers, over NT$200 million in travel, with traveler satisfaction above 90%. We blend team building and evening events into travel: finding fun, chemistry and teamwork.
